education background

in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade fordistinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis.

research experience and academic activity

when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.

(一)在政治思想方面：

我一直認為一個人如果沒有一種可以終生奉行的信仰的話，也就迷失了自己的方向，在很多事情上會很糊涂，不知道怎么處理，日子也過得毫無目的，浪費時光。有信仰才能有動力，才有原則，才會讓自己覺得很充實，才可以分辨是非。自從進入大學以后，這個感覺越來越強烈，因為在大學里，自己在學習和行動等方面都有了一個初步的目標，然而在思想政治方面卻感覺失去了方向。同時通過對實事和我黨政策的了解，更加堅定了我加入黨的愿望。

大一上學期，我參加了西南大學計算機與信息科學學院第一期黨校培訓，從中學到了很多東西，也堅定了我的共產主義意識，讓我認識只有在中國共產黨這個先進的組織里我才能找到的我的理想。從此以后，平時我都虛心地向各黨員前輩請教思想上的問題，努力地向成為一名合格的中國共產黨員奮斗。

(二)在學習、科研方面：

剛剛進入大一，我就以學習為目標，努力地完成了第一學年的學習任務，并取得了班級專業(yè)成績第一，綜合排名成績第三的優(yōu)異成績。進入大二后，我更是認識到了知識和能力的重要性，以更勝于大一的學習熱情來對待學業(yè)，對待知識。皇天不負苦心人，最終取得了前三名的成績。到了大三，我認識到這是大學最為關鍵的一年。為了彌補自己能力上的不足，也為了以后能夠更好融入社會，所以參加了班委的競選，并最終獲任學習委員一職。我相信我一定能以此為契機，爭取全面發(fā)展，堅持學習能力兩手都要抓，兩邊都不能耽誤，努力地將自己培養(yǎng)成為一名四有新人。

在學習方面，我還意識到其它像英語和計算機方面的重要性，在學習上也有所規(guī)劃。在大一下學期，我就以556分的成績順利通過cet-4，之后在大二上期成功通過cet-6，除此之外，我還不斷注意自己英語口語方面的鍛煉。至于計算機的學習，我更注重的是平時的動手操作能力，同時，我也順利通過了全國計算機等級(三級)考試。

(三)社會實踐活動方面

在大一時，我雖然沒有擔任班委，但我覺得不一定非得當我被賦予某種職務的時候才開始意識要為同學服務，生活其實在于點滴之中。我始終認識，一個人最能讓人佩服的一點就是樂于助人。所以同學有困難的時候，我都會盡我所能幫助同學渡過難關。

在大二的時候，我擔任了電子商務協會的副會長。在擔任該工作期間，我自認十分地敬業(yè)，與所有會員一起合作舉辦了多項活動，并協助會長及會員將電子商務協會的名字傳入了西大的每一個角落。在這些舉辦活動所獲得的經驗中，鍛煉出了較強的組織協調能力，能與協會的各項工作配合，也能與協會的各個會員打成一團。
